Silver Ant is fully aware that ALL who venture into 'animation' are those born with a passion, desire and yearning to 'put into motion' their dreams, imaginations and emotions. In our quest to 'motionalize' the creativity within us, came the birth of SILVER Ant...
At Silver Ant, we are given the freedom to explore and the full reign to conceptualize creativity into a solid form. There is no holding back as all employees are fully encouraged to create based on the whims, fancies, wants and needs of our clients. We all labour with dedication and love, and time is never an essence.
The success of our creativity is from the encouraging feedback of our clients and the varied assignments that were given to us. We progressed from merely making TV commercials to video games, games cinematics, short films, movie trailers and then to full-length animated films. Animation is an art form that is non exhaustive in all areas of development.
The Guiding Force behind Silver Ant and its humble beginning...

| 1999 |
Animation Director, Mr. Goh Aun Hoe ventured on his own after five (5) years with Fat Lizard Studio to set up Silver Ant. He ventured out of his safe harbour to take all chances and challenges of being self-employed together with only three (3) CG Artists, an Editor, a Producer and an Accounts Director. His venture was on a self-financing basis and this enabled him and his team to fully concentrate on meeting the challenges of producing excellent work for his loyal and satisfied clients. They truly believed in him and his team. |

Mr. Aun Hoe Goh and his team were spurred on to expand their scope of work to creating Seafood, Silver Ant’s first short film which further strengthened the company's portfolio. This also lead to the unavoidable need to employ a few more CG Artists to meet up with the new and more challenging assignments from totally satisfied customers. |

Silver Ant started venturing into the overseas market with its founder at the helm, backed by his familiarity with well-known and established animation studios in Japan. The breakthrough came with the gaming giant, Konami who animated Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill, awarding Silver Ant with the contract to produce game cinematics for one of their major American clients. Having fully satisfied the client with their high quality work, a strong business-relationship was cemented. |

| 2003 |
This is the year when Silver Ant ventured into In-Game Graphics working with game technology which was a new concept in animation for the Malaysian market. The Company also started experimenting with modeling and effects in their second short film, Bellman. These new concepts were again successfully implemented and enthusiastically accepted by our reputable clients. |

The humble office of Silver Ant had inevitably to be expanded to accommodate additional assignments from our gaming clients. Our list of gaming clients now included Software, Nintendo, Sega, Sony Entertainment and Pachinko. Silver Ant in its quest to produce objective art forms also complemented the mutual growth of our clients in their respective areas of professionalism. For example, Silver Ant managed to convince Nintendo to explore a new conceptual direction i.e. to be the pioneer in 3D cinematics for their Super Mario Brothers video games series. This lead to the launching of Mario Gold Toadstool Tour. Nintendo was gratified with the manner in which 3D animation enlivened the personalities of Mario's Group of Characters. Inevitably we continued to produce cinematics for Super Mario Brothers' titles. |
