Production Coordinator [CLOSED]

Job Details
  • To assist Production Managers and Directors with the planning of the production.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the departments assigned. Monitors daily movement of shots in those departments.
  • Follow-up by departments all outstanding works needed to be pushed in order to meet deadlines.
  • Applies departmental schedules and reporting systems, based upon the master production schedule and tracking system.

CG Supervisor

Job Details
  • The CG Supervisor works closely with the director to oversee every aspect of production for an animated feature film. He/She brings expertise to both the technical and artistic aspects of the project while working in collaboration with the various department supervisors. The standard of quality is established during his/her exchanges with the Director and production staff. He/She must, therefore, understand and interpret the Director’s intentions and also be conscious of the project’s budget constraints set by the production team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Production Manager and production head with project proposals;
  • Work closely with the production head and department supervisors to plan the production based on the budget constraints;
  • Find relevant information and references to prepare the workload;
  • Establish the project’s quality based on the allotted budget;
  • Evaluate the technical requirements for the project and the production pipeline; find and propose solutions that are in concordance with the R&D team, Production Coordinators and the department Supervisors;
  • Provide assistance with the recruitment of 3D Artists to ensure the proper level of skill and experience required for the project;
  • Prepare the production guidelines and instructions for the Supervisors;
  • Give clear instructions to each department and set objectives while monitoring the production process, progress and results;
  • Attend and/or organize and lead production meetings;
  • Inform the Supervisors on changes and news regarding the projects;
  • Be available to answer questions from the production team;

Production Manager [CLOSED]

Job Details
  • The Production Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day production and crew. Working closely with the Producer and Associate Producer, the Production Manager oversees the department schedules and deliverables to ensure the efficient completion of production.
  • Along with the AP, the Production Manager has the unique position of overseeing the entire production schedule and being able to balance and prioritize needs across all departments, with the timely and efficient delivery of the film being the ultimate goal.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day/week-to-week production progress and have a clear picture of the completion of the film at all times
  • Ensure milestones and quotas are met and provide course-correction to the schedule as needed
  • Ensure communication among department leaders via weekly production meetings and any other meetings deemed necessary

Pipeline Developer (Pipeline TD) [CLOSED]

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Pipeline Developer is part of a studio team responsible for developing and supporting tools to accelerate workflow in the production of high quality Visual Effects imagery.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in python 2.x/3.x and/or C++.
  • Proficient with one or more software APIs: Maya, Mari, Katana, Houdini, Nuke, Arnold, 
Renderman, Tractor and Shotgun
  • Prior experience with revision control systems such as Git or SVN is preferred.
  • Must have a mature approach to software design and implementation
  • Strong understanding of production processes for film and television is preferable.

Job Details
  • Best with a minimum of 2 years of similar experience. This is a hybrid position, flexibility is key. Some projects will need your video editing and storytelling abilities. Some projects will call on your design, typography, and animation skills. Most projects will require both.
